How long will the process take?
For all in-stock monuments, total turnaround time is estimated at 8-12 weeks, which includes our 4-week production guarantee. For out of stock, custom order monuments, allow 6-12 months.
Do you have any black granite headstones in stock?
Yes, we commonly have our most popular styles of black granite headstones in stock for faster turnaround times.
Do you ship headstones?
Unless we notify you otherwise in the discovery process when speaking to you, Stoltz Memorials does not ship any headstones. We want to ensure that your loved one’s memorial is not damaged when en route to the cemetery. For this reason, we transport and install all memorials and do not rely on 3rd party carriers.
What is a headstone? Is it the same thing as a tombstone?
Several terms are used to refer to Headstones. These include headstones, gravestones, markers, flat markers, grave markers, grass markers, memorials, monuments and tombstones.
Does Stoltz Memorials install headstones?
Yes, we will install your loved one’s memorial at any Ohio cemetery. We also service some other areas of other states, so please call if you need a headstone outside of Ohio to see if we can accommodate your request.
Can I add a picture to my headstone?
Yes, a picture can be added to any type of memorial. We can add a porcelain photo to your memorial that carries a lifetime warranty from fading and cracking, or we can engrave a photo on any black granite memorial.
How do I pay for my headstone?
We accept all major credit cards as well as a bank transfer. Credit card purchases may be subject to additional processing fees.
Does the price include delivery and installation?
Yes, all quotes will include delivery to the cemetery and installation unless otherwise noted.
How much extra is lettering and a design?
All of our memorial packages include the lettering and/or design in the pricing that you see. Some packages have unlimited lettering and design elements, while others are limited.
Do I need to contact my cemetery?
No. If you decide to move forward with our company, we take care of everything with your cemetery, including submitting all necessary paperwork, getting the foundation poured, and scheduling installation. You won’t have to lift a finger when it comes to speaking with the cemetery.
Are there any additional fees?
Sales tax and your cemetery fees are the 2 additional fees you will have in addition to the overall price of your memorial.
What is the average cost of my cemetery fee?
Your cemetery fee is determined by your individual cemetery. If we have worked with your cemetery recently, we will be able to give you an accurate cemetery fee amount. On average, most upright monuments range from $300 – $600 for the cemetery fee, and $250 – $400 for smaller markers, but each cemetery is different.
Do you offer any type of warranty?
Yes. Our perpetual lifetime granite warranty covers anything that should naturally occur to the stone over time.
What can I engrave on the memorial?
Our designer is very robust and we have many different art emblems we can engrave. If you name it, we probably have it. We also have the capability to hand draw an image you provide for an additional fee.
